Poor Clark would have it either way, but Lex can only see the probable bad outcomes and won't take that leap of faith. So sad.

I know!

I'm consoling myself that this is merely the prologue to a story where Clark figures out a way to give them both a happy ending (with or without obscurity).

Oh, I don't know that. But google has given me a video link. Regina Spektor? I will watch it in a bit (music in here is too loud).
