Writer's Block: Clex Edition
Gosh! Writing is hard work!
I've heard several rumblings that folks aren't quite finished with their Spring Fling fics. Bummer! So this is what we're going to do:
I don't want incomplete fics being posted for challenges because I know as well as anyone else that good intentions are often derailed by real life commitment and you can't control writer's block. So those of you who have your fic neatly tucked away and finished, go ahead and post on the 31st. For these prodigious few, I'm hoping some of the other members will create some art or fanmixes to complement their stories, as a reward.
For the rest of us slackers… I'm going to have a second posting date. This can be for those of us who just haven't finished the fic yet, or for those of us who want time to procure a beta and revise a little. I love the Spring Fling, but I haven't worked all the timing kinks out of it yet, what with multiple bangs going on in the summer.
I'm disinclined to move the date to any time in June, since we ARE still doing Mpreg Day (I'll post more about that later). Thus, I'm thinking July 16th. I don't know how many of you are participating in the Big Bang, but I think that date might give you time to finish up your fic, while trying to balance the bang, if you're not too overcommitted.
Is this date okay, or would you like a different date in July?
