Lex shot straight up in bed and looked around in shock. “What, where am I?”

Two big, strong arms grabbed him and pulled him back down onto the pillows with a groan.

“Stop! Uh...” Lex looked up at the ceiling and sighed. He rolled his head over to see Clark, his hair mussed, still stubbornly closing his eyes against the world. “I had a horrible dream, Clark.”

“Mmm. Tell me,” Clark murmured.

“You were best friends with Oliver Queen.”

“Who?”

“And you were bouncing between Lana Lang and Chloe’s cousin in a overblown romance novel gone wrong.”

“Bwuh?”

“You choked me, teamed up with my father, and used this machine to go into my head. Clark ( ... )

“And you were bouncing between Lana Lang and Chloe’s cousin in a overblown romance novel gone wrong.”
“Bwuh?”

ROTFL! ^_^ And “If Green Arrow gets near you, I’m shoving his bow up his ass before he has the chance to breathe wrong.” had me cheering!! Go, Clark. :) :)

I adore Lex's brand of craziness, and Clark's brand of loving him.

Dreams are a wonderful way of opening the worlds. And the fannish hive mind. ;D

I have a deep desire for Clark to be protective of Lex. Especially after GA KILLED him. And I've always identified with Lex's crazy :D

Seriously, what sort of heroic world do we live in where the heroes deliberately kill? And kill because of *revenge* at that? o.o I'm actually rather pissed at SV for more than that because I always rather liked GA in the comics, and now I wince whenever I hear the name. :( Clark needs to be *much* more protective of Lex!

I really love yours, the way one plays into the other, and through seeing those other dimensions, they decide that they could choose to have a different, better life. :(

Heh, I almost had just the first little part - I'm glad I expanded it or otherwise we really *would* have had identical pieces! ^_^

When they first started watching the alternate universes, they thought they would find they were enemies in all of them. To find out that in most they were friends... was kindof revealing. There's hope for them now, at least. ^^

Mmmm, "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream ..." Nice reference.

The thing that always kind of gets my back up is the way that Clark feels responsibility for so many things, blames himself for chains of events that really were out of his control - but with Lex and the things he COULD have influenced, he appears to hold himself blameless. I'm glad you stripped that down here - very well done.

I was jelus because we had the same idea and yours is better.

(Or I just screwed up, one of the two.)

LOL ^__^ We're just obviously on the Dallas effect line ^^. It's a cool effect of having them all screened - how many similar ideas can we get? I like yours. :)

You are funny. *glomps*

I think both ideas worked very well in different ways, despite having the same beginning premise.
