Aw, Clark doesn't appreciate Lex's 'acquisitions.' But they get kisses and hugs anyway. :)

Well, to be fair, that one was a bit more about the morality of it than Clark not understanding culture. ;p But they do love each other anyhow. ^^

Poor Lex. Clark doesn't get it, though he really did try. >D And Clark, affecting Lex's decisions without even trying.

They're cute and this is a lovely bit of happy.

I think I muddled that one a bit - it was a bit more about the fact that Lex had just strong-armed a museum into giving up a piece of art they'd had in their possession for a hundred years rather than about Clark not understanding art. Ah well, that's why I get for writing short. ^^; I'm glad you liked it anyhow. ^^

Oops. I didn't read it that way, though that doesn't mean it doesn't come through for someone else. My brain often tilts left of center when reading. (And my interpretation makes me happy, so I still take away amusement?)

*glomps* It's hard trying to work in a lot with few words.

Eh, nobody else read it that way either. ;p I was writing it in a hurry, so no surprise. I think I'll just shut up about what it was supposed to be and let the readers interpret as is. :)

I tacked the bit about Cupid watching them at the end. Methinks I either should have made more of it or left it off. ;p Oh well, they can't all be perfection. ^^;

Aw, loved it. Poor Lex, with Clark not liking his acquisition. But he still got a hug and a kiss in the end.

And I loved the last line. Cupid is very sneaky :D.

Clark will always give Lex a hug and a kiss, no matter what. :) And Cupid will go to great lengths to make those two kiss! Well, so will we, really. ;D
