This is beautiful and amazing and I adore you.

Confession without the telling. Ha. Show not tell. ^__^ You're brilliant.

I don't have the words at the moment to fully express how much I love this story, but I can guarantee that when my brain is working properly, you're going to get a rather long, gleeful response to this, dear writer.

{{beams happily}} ^_^

Since Clark has so much problems with the 'telling'... I thought the 'showing' might work a bit better for him. :) And Lex. :)

LOL! ^__^ Thank you! I feel a little like Clark, happy he could render Lex mostly speechless - it's a *good* sort of an accomplishment in a fic! :) Glad you liked!

Showing is fantastic. It's a fantastic idea that... I can't actually recall seeing, off the top of my head. Normally the showing is accidental or demonstrated on request, but your Clark is purposeful and not a puppet.

I am going to come back with a proper comment. Just you wait.

I love how this started out with Clark expecting Lex at the coffee shop and deep down hoping that he was the reason that Lex really came there!

You did a great job with the way you wrote the meeting between Lex and Clark there. You really capture the mannerisms and banter between the two of them really well and it made it a really visual moment for me. Just like so many of the moments between them on the show.

Oh Lex wants to take Clark on a ski trip. This holds promise!! Wait with others? Lana, Pete, Chloe? Oops! I don't think Clark will like to share. Oh Snow camping sounds well it sounds cold! Lol Ah! Clark played Lex against Jonathan and won! Go Clark! I love a clever Clark!

Eek! Clark left Lex alone? I'm so glad he came to his senses and went back. I love how Clarks is slowly showing Lex all of his gifts one by one. It's making the telling of them even more meaningful. This story was wonderful you did a great job!

Twins asked for a slice-of-life in the world of Clex, so I wanted to get as much in there as possible, showing the ins and outs of what their normal life was like as the show gave it to us, but with the Clex. I'm really glad it worked for you like that! ^___^

Clark doesn't like to share, oh no, he doesn't! Luckily, he's also clever and can figure out his way to get exactly what he wants - Lex alone! Er, though, he hadn't meant to *leave* him alone. {{hugs Clark and Lex}}

I'm glad you liked the story! ^______^

Clark had to admit, Lex looked much happier. As well as more comfortable. He looked mournfully at the hat in the snow, thinking of his lost allowance.

Lex leaned over and picked up the hat again, putting it on with only a slight hesitation.

Dies of joy.

"I love every single inch of your human-alien body, powers or no powers. However, I love your powers, and I really really love your sharing them with me. I don't know how you came to choose me, out of all the amazing people in your life. I'm honored and amazed. I would have loved you your whole life, even if you'd never come to me, if you'd married the girl of your dreams... I still would have loved you because you're the sun I see every day, the oxygen that keeps me going. That was true when I thought you were a human, and it's still true now that I know you're a sprite. That you love me, and trust me, is incredible."DIES AGAIN. AHHHH ( ... )

Oh no, I've killed you twice! Thank goodness you have nine lives. :)

The hat was an add-on but I just adored Lex when he did that. Such a cutie. Anything to make Clark happy!

There was supposed to be more to the story after the run to the mountain, but after Lex gave his speech, I had to end it -- Lex just really knows how to use his gift of voice and language to good use when he wants to, and how could anything top that? (That speech wasn't in the original plan other than in a vague way. Lex has his way of taking over sometimes...)

I'm glad it's a holiday so you *can* stay up late! (Hopefully!) So glad you enjoyed. And CLEX FOREVER!!!!! ^________^

Lex's fantasy = Guh squared! Wow - a great image, dirty talk, a turned on Clark...oh, sorry, that's guh cubed!

Lex's eyes dipped down, permission and allure. Mmmm, yes.

This Lex was more. This was *his* Lex, with all that genius and all the attention focused on Clark, and wanting him equally as much. So much, yes ( ... )

Hee - my version of Dirty Talk, get Lex to make up stories. ;D I scratched my head when you asked for it in the poll, and I did here too - that's finally what twigged me that *you* were my giftee. I'm glad you like this type! I don't do quite as well at the other part, tends to dissolve a bit more into swearing and giggles ( ... )

Oh, I did! Soooo much. There are two things I forgot to mention. The snow camping details were so rich, and added so much to the story. Is that something you've done personally, or did you just research it?

Also, I loved all the Jack Frost references throughout. It isn't actually something I've ever seen, but the details you included make it seem a perfect corallary to Clark and Lex. That whole conversation at the beginning of their trip about Jack being accepted for who he was, Lex's take on the lying. I'm glad that Lex saw Clark's point. You had me curious about how much Lex knew about Clark at that point - was the conversation literal or his effort to let Clark he knew something. Anyway, I really enjoyed how you carried that right to the last conversation they had after their run.

I haven't gone snow camping myself, but my brother used to with his scout troop and it always sounded like a heck of a lot of fun. I do go hiking. For most of the details, I used handy google and compared a bunch of sites for the most common. I tried not to toss in the kitchen sink with it -- I'm glad you thought it was a good balance ( ... )

Absolutely loved this! The whole story was just fantastic :D. Loved how Lex rewarded Clark everytime he revealed something (or used his powers) - was very hot!

Lex goading Clark before the sex? ("Unless you're too afraid, your fucking first time? Only fifteen -- are you man enough to fuck me?") Guh, so hot! I can see why Clark lost control there. LOL, I kept expecting the ice shelter to collapse from the heat going on between Clark and Lex.

And the ending was lovely. Lex's speech was just perfect. Would love to see a sequel to this. Where Lex and Clark go skiing maybe?

:) :) So glad you enjoyed!

LOL, Lex wasn't actually *trying* to reward Clark... he was just very very turned on, and now actually had permission to jump Clark, so he did. :) The conditioning was accidental. Though neither of them are going to complain!

{snicker} I thought about doing something to the snow cave from the heat, but that would have been a bit much for this sappy little fic. ^^ Maybe towards the end of their four days out here. :)

After that speech wrote itself, it was just time to stop the story there. I was going to do a bit more, have some more sex... ^_^ but that speech of Lex's was too good to keep on after that.

I do like the idea of skiing next! LOL - yeah, after this, Jonathan might be a bit more amenable to the idea. :)
