This is perfect and amazing. You pulled absolutely perfect scenes for the lyrics and I honestly teared up at the kid!Lex scene. I wasn't expecting that particular clip and it landed a solid punch to my feels.

I am going to watch this every day, apparently (I am 3/3 so far). But it's just that good. I didn't say before, but I am so happy you went with that song choice for the video (though, of course, all options were awesome?) It was very clexy to me even before this video, but it's kind of amazing to me how well you paralleled some of my thoughts when listening to the song.

The song lyrics really do work well with the Clex, don't they. I still find myself giggling when I'm watching and come to the first "And I swear I don't have a gun" scene, with Lex firing away at everything in sight.

I missed this completely when it went up. I'm so disappointed, because I could have been listening to it and watching it for two weeks, instead of for one day. The song and the clips you chose were wonderful, and you have a great sense of timing. Also, a great knowledge of the show, to be able to pick out those moments which fit so well - right from the first words "Come as you are" (Clark and Lex, now), "as you were" (Clark and Lex the younger)..."as an old enemy" (Clark and Lex in the Fortress). Such fantastic moments, as are the friends ones in between, and everything after. Really, the song was almost written for them, and you just found the perfect snippets that fit the words. Wonderfully done.

Thank you for the lovely words. I had a blast making this and trying to find the right snippets for each line. So many choices, though I got a bit stumped by "the choice is yours". I nearly wound up using a Lexana scene (sans Lana of course) where Lex is holding up a bunch of baby things!
