Right, not that I'm not totally loving where this fic has gone, but I feel that as Moderator, my contribution (or lack thereof) should be explained

Wow, I just read that, and wow you're right, close to thirty chapters. I can't believe how right you are. My pushy little muses have stomped all over this story haven't they (while totally ignoring the multitude of kidnapping, abuse, addiction, and angst Wips on my index that are just crying out to be updated).
I would apologize, were I not so evol and loving of what everyone has contributed.
But to go without Clex this long... there must be some law against it. Well, maybe not a law, but at least a warning in the Clex'rs charter.
Still we do have an impending rescue, and that's going to have to be Clex pure and simple to make up for the big bad things that have happened to Clark.
As you noted the original plotline has been deterred from and I know that the original intention was (and probably continues to be free form writing)... but for continuity, do you think that it would be advantageous to work up, individually or as a group, a plotline of the major plot points so that they won't be dropped as the story progresses?
Even though I remember writing that he was rubbing his stomach and getting ill, in proximity to Lex- I had temporarily forgotten this. And if we get any new writers onto the list there's so much of it to read now that they might miss details (like Clark partially confessing to Lex, or Lex and Clark listening to Jonathan and Martha talking about the reason Clark ran away)that would definately have an effect on how these two would react in later scenes.
maybe a basic summary of the key facts would be a good idea - I mean, the basic plotline so far, as you say, new members may not read every chapter, and the fact that Clark was getting sick because he was far from Lex was the basic issue of the story - actually, Clark's been kidnapped - so I guess this really should be mentioned again!
So, I guess a summary of the most important stuff thats happened placed in the memories section would probably by helpful, and maybe a 'possible plotbunnies' section?

glad you approve. I'll create one in the memories section, explain it with a post including the beginning plotline.
