So. There's this SPN meme going around. You may have seen it? I barely update anymore, and I stopped doing reaction posts for SPN a while back, so it occurred to me that people might thing I'm not utterly head-over-heels in love with it anymore.
1. Deangirl or Samgirl?
SamandDeangirl. Though, NGL, seeing how many people don't like Sam (which I do not get) makes me lean a tiny bit more towards him. I have a thing for the underdogs and kicked puppies.
2. Casgirl, yes or no?
Yes! I love Cas; especially when he's with Sam and Dean (or with Sam/Dean). I tend to shy away from the Casgirls though, because, again, I love Sam and a lot of the ones that I've seen seem to hate him and be mad at Sam for, like. IDK, existing?
3. Favorite season?
I am the worst person ever at making decisions. I won't earn points if I say it a tie between everything but six, right (though I didn't want to light six on fire as much as everyone else)?
4. Favorite epidsode(s) from your favorite season?
S1: Faith (Runners up are the Pilot and Devil's Trap)
S2: Nightshifter (Runners up are What Is And What Should Never Be and All Hell Break's Loose: Part One)
S3: Jus In Belo (Runners up are Bad Day At Black Rock and Mystery Spot).
S4: It's A Terrible Life (Runners up are The Monster At The End Of This Book and In The Beginning)
S5: Swan Song (Runners up are Dark Side of the Moon and Two Minutes to Midnight and The Song Remains The Sam)
S7: The Born-Again Identity (Runners up are Meet The New Boss and Death's Door)
Asylum and Faith were the first two eps I ever saw, and Faith just sealed the deal for me. Nightshifter was perfect in so many ways that it even made me write a Big Bang! Jus In Belo has Henricksen-who will ever not win-and beats out Mystery Spot because I legit can't watch that unless I'm in the right mood.
It's A Terrible Life had GAAAAAAAAAAAY and AU-but-not and total amnesia!plot and ZACHARIAH and Sam and Dean always ending up together and hunting to matter what. Swan Song is perfect. Period. And The Born-Again Identity was beautiful. See question 7 for more.
5. Season you're most likely to re-watch?
Five, apparently. It has the most eps I love and I had to narrow my favorites down to four.
6. Season you hate the most?
Six, duh. Again, I don't hate it as much as everyone else (because Robo!Sam has some really funny lines) but it was not good and that is especially bad in a show that is consistently exceptional and far above what people would expect for a genre show or a show on the CW.
7. Favorite episode of the current season?
The Born-Again Identity. Dean trapped with a Cas who doesn't realize what he did to Sam and Dean, Jared acting so magnificently, Mark Pellegrino being perfect and hilarious and horrible in all the right ways, Cas finally fixing the mess he made of Sam and getting to redeem himself... ♥
8. Least favorite episode from the current season?
Season Seven, Time for a Wedding! I love the meta eps, and I completely loved Becky before this! The problem is that she is the fans. She has always represented an extreme-but-SANE version of us in the episodes she was in, and they were always meta episodes. And then someone decided, "Hey, but what if she were in a non-meta ep? And what if she, like, hit Sam with a love spell? Wouldn't that be awesome?" AND NONE OF THE WRITERS REALIZED THIS WAS A BAD IDEA.
9. Favorite angel (besides Cas)?
Lucifer is such a magnificent asshole. But Balthazar was so very... Sebastian. I'm fairly certain he didn't actually act in that part, and just preformed as himself, and I loved it.
10. Least favorite angel?
Gabriel, for the reasons cherie_morte said here. I loved him as the Trickster. I hated that they decided he should be an angel so that he can be a good guy and they could try to get his help.
And, really? If you want to think of a reason why the Trickster God isn't helping save the world? You don't have to demote his powers and make him an angel. He's a Trickster God. Maybe he just didn't want to. Or maybe he did, and his only motivation was not "Lawful Good" but just that he wants to keep the humans around to fuck with them.
11. Favorite demon?
YED! Azazel, you are my favorite snarky bastard and the reason I always say "HAI YED" when I see Fred Lehne on anything.
12. Least favorite demon?
Tami from Malleus Maleficarum. The episode was lame, and so was she.
13. Favorite one-episode character?
Brady (AKA Sam's ex) for awesomeness, hotness, CW incest (he was Whitney Fordman on S1 of Smallville), and the possibility of Sam/Brady (that more people need to write and/or point me to right the fuck now). MISHA, TOO. THE FRENCH MISTAKE, ILU. Deputy Hudak from The Benders! NIIIIIIIIIIIICK. POOR, POOR STALKED-BY-LUCIFER NICK!
14. Sam's hair looked best in which season?
It's a tie between early S2 (middle of the season it was kind awkward while the bangs grew) and... S7, actually. IDK, I like the fluffiness.
15. If the show would have ended the way Kripke wanted it to, with Sam and Dean battling each other and jumping into the hole together (and God might show mercy on them, idk), would you have preferred that?
Do you see all the raving I'm doing about S7? I want this show to NEVER end. But if it had to, I would have liked that ending (Sam and Dean going together).
16. Best casted character throughout the whole show?
The Winchesters. I love how Jared and Jensen look like just JDM in completely different ways. I'm like half--sure that Colin Ford actually is an AU Sam Winchester. Have you guys seen that kid, lately?
17. Do you think Chuck is God?
YEP! Dude, he was Kripke, and that was Kripke's last ep/love letter to the show and fans.

Worst opener is The Magnificent Seven. It was a good ep, but it didn't feel like a season premiere at all. Worst season finale... Man, I really love all the finales. Can I say Devil's Trap because of the emotional trauma I had to endure waiting to find out if Supernatural was going to make it through the WB/UPN merger? If not, I might be controversial and say No Rest For The Wicked, if only because I really wanted Sam to save Dean.
