I know this prompt is already filled but I wrote this before anything was posted. Hope it doesn't suck.
“Dude, I think he’s the Trickster.” Dean said when the annoying doctor limped out. Good thing too, because from what Sam could tell, Dean was about ready to punch out the sucker.
“He’s not, Dean. That guy is always like that.” Sam muttered tonelessly. He was very tired of constantly switching channels and was actually glad for the break. Even if that break involved sitting in a hospital bed and suffering horrific medical ailments before he gets cured. At least he’ll get cured.
Eventually.
“I’m serious Sam, guy was a grade-A douche. And he kept sucking on that lollipop. Trickster alert!”
“Dean,” Sam sighed. He felt so exhausted. He couldn’t even remember the last time he actually slept. Apparently, people on TV shows don’t sleep. “We just have to play our roles, okay. We shouldn’t be here for long.”
Dean peeked out the room, staring at the retreating doctor. “His back is turned. I could get him when he’s not looking and we can finally end this.”
“Dean, you are not seriously thinking about attacking a cripple!”
“It’s a tv show!” Dean’s snapped. “It’s not like I’m attacking a real cripple.”
Sam rolled his eyes. “Yeah, just like you didn’t get shot by a real bullet.”
“Well, it’s better than letting you die of lupus.” His brother grumbled.
“I don’t have lupus. It’s never lupus.” Sam muttered. “And Dr. House’s patients hardly ever die. I’ve seen this show before.”
Dean glared. “And you were giving grief about liking Dr. Sexy, M.D. At least he’s not an asshat.”
Oh, how many responses there were to that but Sam so did not feel like arguing. “Just don’t attack House, ok?”
Dean craned his neck out the door and around the corner. “Now’s my chance. He’s talking to a hot doctor with a low-cut top. He’ll never see me coming.”
Sam tried not to growl. “Dean, one of the doctors House had sent over is a hot chick. Who likes girls. And just broke up with her boyfriend.”
Dean paused, predictably so, and turned slowly. He stared at Sam with an almost blank expression and then exhaled. “I suppose we can play our roles for a little while longer.”
Yeah, Sam thought, especially if it meant Dean “playing his role” with Thirteen.
hehe!!! OMG That explains so much about House!!! But do Tricksters have an addiction to Vicadin? And co-dependent relationships with oncologists? Love love loved it!!
