Okay...I gave this one a shot.

"Look, it's not a problem that you're older students," the girl was saying. "We'd love to have you both. We need hot guys, and I mean, you're older, but you're still hot."

Sam stared blankly, promptly decided he just couldn't cope with this, and pulled Dean down the hallway.

"Don't show fear, Sammy, not to a high schooler," Dean grinned.

"She's--" he stopped, froze. She was following them. He was too tall to duck around a corner.

"Sam!" Rachel came up, a bit breathless. "Hey, you ran off a little suddenly, and I was hoping we could continue our conversation."

"Uh, I'm kind of busy with my brother here," Sam said, nodding his head at Dean.

"Oh, he's totally not busy. You two go along," Dean said cheerily.

"Actually, I still want both of you." As they stared, Rachel sighed and took each of them by an arm. Sam saw Dean try to hit the fire alarm, but Rachel yanked him away, a bit forcefully.

"Here's the thing," Rachel said, stopping outside a room. "We had an old person in Glee Club once. She was okay. I mean, they like it better when I'm around, I'm sure. But she did fine, and I know you can too. Don't be self-conscious or anything just because we're a little younger than you. You'll be great! Vocal Adrenaline has like, half their football team in there, and we haven't made as many inroads in that as we'd like, but I mean, we're doing okay. Okay?"

"I--what?" Dean sputtered. Maybe she was a demon, and when they sang, they were going to like, lose their souls or something, like in The Little Mermaid. Or was that voices? Probably souls; Disney was pretty fucked up. He chewed the inside of his cheek, trying to remember.

"Look, just give us a chance. We've got a good thing going here, and we have two more girls than we have guys, and you both look like you can lift people and you know, move, so you don't actually have to be super great at singing. I don't suppose you can actually sing?" she pressed hopefully.

"Dean can sing," Sam said, sweetly, and it took Dean a second to catch up to the conversation. "Oh, he--" he was about to swear, and remembered he was next to a little girl, and--

Rachel's face lit up like a Christmas tree. "Oh, that's perfect." She dragged them both through the door.

"What do you want to go for first?" she asked.

"We're not in your Glee Club!" Dean protested.

"You know any REO Speedwagon?" Sam broke in, directing the question at the kid holding the guitar.

The kid brightened. "Do I know REO Speedwagon," he scoffed, and broke into the opening chords of Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore, as Dean stared ahead, wild eyed and vaguely sweating.

"Now, I know you know that song, Dean," Sam grinned, and didn't fight Rachel when she positioned him next to a tiny blonde girl.

There didn't seem to be much point in fighting Rachel.

Payback for the "Sam's the sketch artist" and "Sam collects dolls" and other such things, I'm sure.

This makes not only a whole lot of sense, but the amounts of awesome being generated could probably power an entire country for a year or so.
By which I mean, how many fruit baskets would it take for you to write more? first born? baskets of first borns?
