Few things before bedtime

So the movie Four Brothers was AWESOME. It was a revenge movie in the same vein as Man on Fire, which you will note was in my top 20 best movies of all time. It was also a really well done friendship/brother movie, even though it was two black guys and two white guys, they did a great job acting like real brothers. That movie was freakin great, and I recommend it to anyone, Lauren loved it and she normally likes cartoon movies, so I think just about anyone would like it.

Secondly, the band Death From Above 1979, aside from having one of the coolest names ever, is in close contention with The Mars Volta for my favorite band. Seriously. Every song they have, I'm sitting here at my computer/in my car just jammin and tapping my feet and stuff, theres no other band like them. They are a bit like a MUCH more rocked out White Stripes since they only have two people in the band, but MAN, they are just so much better. Everyone should check THEM out too, even if you don't like the white stripes. My favorite song by them, "Dead Womb", also has a freakin AWESOME chorus that reminds me of my luck with girls lately:

"We're lookin for wives, so tired of sluts, coming to us in the clubs with their cocaine"

Thats SO freakin cool. Granted I've never liked a girl on cocaine (anyone remmeber that Tom Petty song? 5 bucks to anyone who does...except Stephanie, I know she'll remember), but I've basically been looking for something serious and it just doesn't happen. Ah well. Birthday is coming up next week and its gonna be AWESOME, cedar point trip, evergreen terrace concert, and red lobster with no less than EIGHT friends, which will make me feel special. At any rate, it being 530 am, I guess its bedtime.
