This is just about Harry Potter.

So I m about halfway through the book now, I read 100 pages last night after I got it at midnight and was going to just read 100 pages a day so it d take me a week, which was my idea of "taking it slow", but its not gonna happen. I ve probably already had the ending ruined for me by fucking asshole mutherfuckers that think its great to spoil something great, just because its mainstream and you are nt a fan, does nt mean that you need to fuck it up for the rest of us, you mutherfucking dickheads. I ve had no less than FOUR of my "friends" try to fuck up the end and spoil it for me, and it just pisses me off that people are such assholes. Sure, I may be a little bit more passionate about things than the average joe (and yeah, I mean joe that had the away message up giving away the ending), but if you are my friend, how about you humor me, and try not to ruin it for me. Alright, enough about that rant, as you can see that thoroughly pissed me off, but it almost does nt matter. This book is easily the best in the series, and I m only halfway done. Its the most mature by far. J.K. Rowling knows EXACTLY what it was like to be 16 years old and she captures all the akwardness, raging hormones, and sometimes even the downright childishness of what it was like to be 16. It is an excellent book in its own right just because of that, but theres so much more. Nick said in his entry about the book (as he read the whole thing in one sitting, something I strongly considered doing myself, but instead I decided I d read it in three days, then just start reading the entire series over again for the third time after I m done) that he could nt understand how a 12 or 13 year old kid could even take in all the heartbreak and rush of emotions that the book creates. I agree with that. However, no book that I have ever read deserves its success more than these books. They are honestly a story for everyone. A kid who is 12 may not understand everything going on, but rest assured they will be thoroughlly entertained, and they will walk away from the book having a stronger imagination than they did before. Imagination is something I believe to be essential to life, hell even Einstein said that. Someone who is 65 could appreciate the way they felt when they were this young and get lost in the mysticism of the book as easily as someone my age can. I m really glad that a few of you out there (Nick, Robert, Kitsune, Ashley) appreciate these stories as much as I do, and I wish I could have went with all of you last night to get the book. Instead I went to meijers by myself to pick it up since the majority of my friends dont appreciate the books. That was even more obvious by all the people who made their best attempt to spoil the ending for me. But seriously, these books are the best books ever written. If they had an age limit, I remember telling someone today, anyone from 12 to 100 could enjoy these books, and that cant be said about much of anything these days. These books are each masterpieces in their own right, and its sad there is only one left, and considering J.K. (who is really pretty, by the way) is pretty much a multi-billionaire, its not like she will have much incentive to carry on the name after the final book. But seven books is better than the three that the lord of the rings fans got I suppose, so I cant complain. Look at me, I just rambled for an incredibly long time about something I really like once again. I have a bad habit of doing that lately. But fact is if it wasn't for all of these great things, this summer would suck alot worse than it already has. So heres to all of you other people with overactive imaginations like I do that enjoy reading these books as much as I do, and hopefully I ll get to talk to all of you about it soon.
