While discussing Freud and sexual repression within culture in Professor Moeschl's Gen Psych class:
"At what age do people start masturbating?"
Awkward silence. Everyone looks around; noone makes a move to raise their hand. Slowly, slowly, several students overcome their timidity and offer up opinions. Everyone nods their head in agreement, and a consensus is reached: when people hear about it, and/or figure out they have a capacity to do it, usually during the middle school years (though Kids These Days may start as early as fifth grade, the sickos.)
"Wrong. People start masturbating before they are born. I have a video that I show to my Psych of Human Sexuality class over at Nova; sonograms of a little boy, and of a little girl, masturbating like crazy, while still in the womb."
Stunned silence.
"And that's why you are all a bunch of perverts."
...
That kinda makes one wonder about those "Sex = Evil" schools of thought.
