Subject: annual psychological evaluation
Good afternoon.
It's that time of year, again. Annual psychological evaluations begin next week. This is mandatory for all active agents; all other staff must complete at least one evaluation once every two years. If you choose to opt out at this time, then your evaluation will be next year. Trainees are not required to complete an evaluation until they have graduated if they have a signed release from their trainer to forgo the evaluation.
Evaluations are to be held by Atobe Keigo and myself. This year, we are going to try a different format for the sake of efficiency. You will be meeting with both of us unless you have specifically requested a meeting with either Atobe or myself. To schedule your appointment, please contact us via email or phone or, alternately, you may sign up for a time on the calendar hanging outside Atobe's office. If you have forgotten when you are scheduled, please feel free to check. All appointments have been marked in red ink.
If we have not heard from you by the end of next week, you will be scheduled for a time that is available. This is a mandatory evaluation, so you will be expected to meet these appointments.
Evaluations measure your aptitude with regard to your position in the agency. It is a standardized list of questions geared toward judging your ability to perform your duties. Unless you would like to discuss a specific issue at the time of the evaluation, it is unlikely we will deviate from this list. If concerns are raised in your evaluation, a recommendation will be presented to your department head - in the case of trainees, it will be submitted to your trainer.
All information shared in the evaluations is considered personal and confidential; we cannot and will not share the questions or your answers outside of the session. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding evaluations, please contact me via email since Keigo will just scare you.
I look forward to seeing everyone over the next few weeks.
