Crazy couple of weeks
So these past couple of weeks have been pretty dang crazy for me. Between work at CP and at SYC, my weeks have been bad enough. On top of that, I house sat for the weekend, tried to get my taxes done, worked on establishing my Ohio residency, and was sick for almost 5 days straight. Kinda sucked, but I got through it and now things are getting a little better.
This week is busy too, but definitely slowed down. I've managed to get some time off from CP (1 1/2 days) to get some license things done and to pack for moving. Also, SYC is closed for 2 weeks, so that's amazing!
Let me tell you how much it sucks to switch state residency. After struggling with the car title thing, getting my SS card, and figuring out how much I have to pay for all this, I don't even want to think about how I still have to take the license test and go through all those other flaming hoops just to get an Ohio license and Ohio plates. Ugh. I just want it to be done and over.
The good news is, I got the key to my new apartment just a couple of hours ago. The carpet is sooo fresh. I love it! I can't wait to move in. The only thing that he still has to fix is the bathroom cabinet fronts being replaced. I also want to buy those sticky tiles to place on the kitchen floor to make it look prettier.
Funny thing is, I house sit this weekend again. So I don't even get to sleep at my new apartment until Wednesday. Well that's about it, I hope. I don't think I can handle anymore going on than I already have.
