My tummy is full of Mexican
My brother just got back from Japan to visit! I havn't seen him in like 2 years I think. He was in Iraq and then went straight to Japan, so it's been awhile. Anyways, he'll be visiting here in Ohio next week. Monday we are going to Cleveland, Tuesday to CP, and Wed to Put-in-Bay. Cassie is coming on Tuesday too! So I get to have lots of fun with her also, and then she is staying till Friday. Chris will leave Thursday. I am taking 5 days off from work. I have it contracted, so i'm totally set. It will be my first time off since April, besides my 1 day off per week. It will be nice to have some time off. And I have a super duper suprise for Chris and Cassie for their belated birthday presents even though their birthdays were in Jan and April. I know they won't read this, so I'll just say it. I'm gonna take them parasailing! I talked to the peeps that do it at CP and they said I can use my employee discount for them too! This shall be a great time.
Anyways, the new job is great! It can get a little stressfull/annoying sometimes, but in the end I love it! It's very rewarding to do this kind of work. I've learned so much more about how Cedar Point operates. It's really fun to be on my own and to work with the other TL's and such and help them to have better crews. I also am enjoying my dinners at the cafe instead of stockade.
Today at our Employee Relations Management Committee meeting, John Hildebrandt put out a contest for the representatives. He wants us to submit an idea on how we could improve CP. If we have the best idea, we get $50 in beagle bucks and a CP hoodie. I'm totally determined to win. Anyone have any suggestions? I think it should be to offer returning employees more incentives. But I can't really come up with any good incentives. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.
