Yes ladies and gentlemen (ok, really just ladies, whatever), she has been inked!
Today I got my very first tattoo by Coleman at Living Art. I am very pleased about the outcome and it didn't really hurt (at a couple of points I had to squeeze Sasha's hand and make the "ahh shit" face, but that was the most of it). The whole procedure lasted about a half hour, cost me 50 bucks, and it was a really nice and relaxed situation. I admit to being a dumb-ass, for the most part I had Sasha hold a mirror up so that I could see what he was doing, not because I don't trust the man (I've done my research on him), but because I wanted to see. When I had my blood taken for the first time my mom tried to cover my eyes, but i asked her to move because i was fascinated (i told her my blood was a pretty color and ever since then she never believed i was right in the head). So, yea, I'm glad there was a small mirror so i could see what was happening. In the next room there was this much older white guy getting a huge phoenix (of course, different than mines) across his back, he had so many tattoos he was just reading while the dude was tattooing him. His whole upper body was covered, and he had a nipple that was pierced twice (so he had a silver ball on each side...it looked cute but it must have hurt, and also to think that maybe he was a lil freaky was disturbing cuz he was kinda old). So, yea, that was my experience, it was cool, i was a soldier, and i'm excited to take the bandage off (which is hella ghetto cuz it's really just like a paper towel taped down over the ointment, lol. I was a lil mad at it).
Ok, enough happiness over the tattoo, time to put some music on and get to work, which i really think i can finish on time (maybe even early **gasp**) if i can just focus.
Also, that damn Nelly song is in my head, and altho the extra weight he put on for the movie looks REALLY nice on him, I can't support Nelly!! It's just not me.
