mood:
tired
The strangest thing happened this morning, Leonard woke me up to ask me something, I heard it, but before it processed, my brain rebooted, and I had to ask him to repeat himself. It had to be one of the weirdest things I've ever felt.
I need... to buy CD's...
I want Sean Lennon's new album "Friendly Fire", but I can't find a torrent for it and I can only find the single "Dead Meat" with other methods. I also need to buy My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" 90% percent of the reviews I'm seeing are hailing it as one of the best albums of the past 20 years (take ::that:: Brandon Flowers), something to put in your collection along with "Nevermind" and "American Idiot." The other 10% of reviews I'm seeing are either their older scenester fans going "OMG they've sold out!" or the standard dumbass "They're Emo and Emo is gay", which they aren't, their latest album has discarded most of the band's original Emo (which is why the scenesters are up in arms) for a pop-y rock opera not unlike Queen's "A Night at the Opera." So they're apparently worth my money and support, I may even give a full review after I've listened to it in it's entirety (although I don't have it yet, I suppose I'm getting ahead of myself)
Off to bed!
Edit: I'm also considering getting The Killers' new album "Sam's Town", but reviews are ::really:: mixed, ranging from an amazing revival of The Boss to a poor imitation across the board (What is this? except for Evanescence's "The Open Door" this has become the month of 70's revival).
