Zombie Update
Goooood afternoon Seattle Zombies!
Last week was our first zombie walk of the year and if this is any indication of how much fun we are going to have, then this could be too much for one rotted heart to take. Here are some photos and a video of the Norwescon Zombie Walk.

The zombies decided to taste boiled brains as we invaded the pool and hot tub chasing swimmers all about. One of the highlights was invading the laser tag room, it was a massacre. Zombies were dying left and right,
Some of the highlights were zombies swarming around the hotel pool and hot tub trying to get swimmers. Zombies invading laser tag and dying by the masses. Zombie Elevator surprise where we have a group of zombies take the second floor elevator down to the lobby and jump out as the doors open. One amazing zombie elevator story, we had too many zombies so we had to wait for the second elevator which consisted of 3 zombies and 4 guys dressed as heroes (one of them was in a ghost busters costume, fuck yah!) so we convince them as heroes to act like they were fighting us and as the door opens they are to scream and run from us.. What was waiting for us was a horde of zombies wondering where I went.. So when these heroes came out screaming they soon were in the middle of a zombie feast.

The Google Maps Zombie Simulator

Zombie Outbreak Simulator is Binary Space’s “teaser app” for their upcoming zombie RTS, “Class 3 Outbreak”, which also runs on Google Maps. Game designer, Jay Weston says, “ZOS and Class 3 Outbreak are by far the most ambitious games to be released on Google Maps, we can’t wait to see what the reaction is like. A large scale zombie infection has never been simulated like this before.” Programmer, Saxon Druce has coded each of the 15,000 map inhabitants to behave individually and interact with terrain on Google Maps, meaning that characters move under trees, around walls and into buildings, all while running at 30+ frames per second on average PCs.

Controls:
Screen Movement: WASD or Click/Drag.
Police Movement: Single click = move and stop to attack zombies. Double click = run and don't stop for zombies no matter what.
Attacking: Move within range of zombies or click on them.
Description:
Class 3 Outbreak is an RTS zombie game running on Google Maps(R). Struggle to keep the zombie infection at bay with a hopelessly outnumbered police force, squash any outbreaks that appear and keep the zombie threat level at Class 1 for as long as possible. Protect thousands of civilians over a 1km square area in Washington DC, USA or Leicester, England. Keep an eye out for infected civilians, and make sure none find their way outside of your police unit's reach.
