"...And I better never get another phone call like that again, understand?" Jack finished, scowling at his young charges. "I expected better than that from you two."
Sam and Daniel nodded grudgingly, each barely reining in the urge to heave a martyred sigh. Anything misconstrued as "attitude" would only get each teen a long lecture and an even longer grounding.
Nobody was on their side today. Was it so hard to believe that the SGC's resident Science Twins-known to finish one another's sentences even when they were adults-had inadvertently written the exact same responses to their homework questions?
