(no subject)
So I've been back in the good o'l US of A for about 2 weeks, going on three. It's pretty nice I'm enjoying putting the toilet paper directly in the toilet, hamburgers, baths and the very clean uncontaminated (compared to Quito). All that said things are also pretty boring, at least now they are, I have no job and have nothing to do. I should work on those two but I've been hit by the lazy monster.
Anyway the Galapagos was pretty amazing we saw lots of Animals, went snorkling, and had an overall pretty sweet time. After that we stayed with my hostfamily in Quito we saw some museums and went to the mitad del mundo ( equator line monument), but my mom got sick so we couldn't do quite as much. Nevertheless we also went to Cuenca for a day and a half, which was really nice it had gorgeous arcitecture and felt cleaner and safer than Quito. Anyway we stayed in this really nice expensive hotel(it was my mom's b-day), the only downside our sweet faced the street and across the street was a disco so we heard and felt pumping latino pop/ reggeaton all night. Anyway we got some Panama hats (which are wrongley named b/c they're actually made in Ecuador), went to some markets then went to the airport and went back to Quito. My last night we ate dinner with my whole host family and I got to see my host sister Jessica in her wedding dress (she's getting married Aug. 8). Anyway the next day we left and I cried like a baby when I had to say goodbye to Manuela and my host parents, but overall I think it was good to have two weeks of vacation after the program, it definitely prepared me to go back. Anyway I'm back now and bored so if u want to hang out or do something message or call me. I'll also post my pictures on facebook at some point. Chao for now.
