GNARLS BARKELY CONCERT!!!!!!!!!
ok so the concert was awesometastic it was sooo much fun. first of all we were front row b/c i pre-ordered the tickets on the gnarls barkley website, which was great since when we got there the line was already long. so yea and emily definitely got in w/o an id which was good b/c it totally would have sucked if she couldn't have gone. so yeah we got in first and they played this video of like random scenes like mountains, and people getting off escalators and a twinky machine, it was interesting but we had to wait for so long it got a lil boring. Anyway then after everyone got in the first band came on ... they were ok, nothing to yell and scream about, they had s like a mix of hiphop rock and metal. i really can't judge them since all i really heard was base and a few lyrics. we were right next to some people who had flown here all the way from texas just to see that band... i didn't think they were that good but they sure did. They did have a cool black lady and black guy w/ some mad skills.lol. oh and their was like a sort of geeky/hipster asian DJ that really made the show for me b/c every so often you could see him jamming out behind his ibook ( or whatever they're called). Then they stopped and put on the damn video again, we had to wait 45 min for them to set up the stage for gnarls. by this time my feet, leg, everything was killing me ( we had been standing there since like 7:45 and it was about 10 something). but we did get some free water and freeze pops which was pretty sweet, a freeze pop never tasted soo good! anyway then gnarls barkley came out w/ their band all in like white tennis outfits it was pretty sweet. They had a strings section which was sooo cool with like a violinist and cellist etc. then they had 3 back up singers, a drummer, a baseist, guitarist and of course Cee-lo and danger mouse. they played all the songs from their album and some covers. the energy was so much fun and cee lo had some serious bling on like this big dimond bracelet and necklace. But their was this girl that kept screaming in my ear ( take in that the music is way loud on top of crazy mc crazerton screaming in my damn ear). anyway then they did an encore and it was pretty sweet. it was hot as hell in there and i was thirsty but it was an amazing show, totally worth it. then when we were driving emily home some crazy mofo came up behind us like really fast really close to our car with his bright on, it freaked us out, so my mom pulls over to let him go in front of her or whatever and he pulls over w/ us until he speeds away a few seconds later. what a crazy scary moment... he was an ass. anyway the show was great and beyond that i don't have much to say except buh bye keith you ass! oh and there be some picters below.
