Pixels fishing: the best part of my day

I am having a Not Good Day--not quite a Bad Day, but definitely Not Good--for no particular reason at all. I've spent the entire day feeling aimlessly pitiful and wanting to cry. Mostly, I stare at an open Word document for several minutes at a stretch, then check on my Godfinger All-Stars phone app.

I just want to yell, because I'm on the board of a non-profit, and my brother's group has an idea in the running for the Pepsi Refresh grant. Charities have more sources of funding BECAUSE THEY HELP PEOPLE.

Sorry, fanfic archieves are not going to feed hungry families, teach children, or help domestic abuse survivors. And those sorts of groups - they're struggling. I can tell you that from my time spent at the YWCA Canada national meeting, a lot of traditional routes for funding have been cut off.

If they win a grant I will need to punch things.
