"The Dark Knight Rises": eurgh. Didn't he do most of the rising in Batman Begins? What's he rising from? I don't like it.

I bet it'll make sense if the villain is Catwoman.

According to the slash fans, it would make sense with just about anybody.

Well, it sounds like what I suspected--a redemption arc, since the last movie was about him sacrificing his reputation and falling from grace.

A redemption of Batman was what I assumed when I saw TDK the first time.

Hmm -- Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises. Doesn't really flow, does it? Well, regardless, there's a good chance of the title changing by the release date.

That's exactly what I was thinking. (I did just finish a class on Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, so it was especially obvious. Also, your icon is awesome.) I hope it does change.

Dunno, makes sense to me. It's kind of like A New Dawn, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi.

It's A New Hope.

Actually the original titles were "Star Wars," "Empire Strikes Back," and "Revenge of the Jedi."

I keep forgetting about this. *facepalm*

Thanks. I knew it was A New Something, I just couldn't be bothered to look it up.

I'm more concerned that it's a bit confusingly similar to the movie before it :/

Seriously. It might make more sense if the first film had been titled similarly, but Batman/Dark Knight/Dark Knight kind of weirds me out.
