So. To recap the last few entries: as you can see in the screencaps, the comment crossposting privacy issues aren't terrible on Twitter, but they are Not of the Good on Facebook. Turning on Facebook Connect posted my full name on my user info page without any warning. Pingbacks have been behaving erratically, but I have personally gotten links to

There is something so dodgy about syncing all these networking sites up together. As if the media wasn't already dominated by the same small group of corporations ruling over everything with an iron grip. I probably won't leave LJ (although I do have a DW just in case but man, the smugness from DW only users bugs me so much.) but they're not doing themselves any favours with this fuckery.

I have a feeling I know how they'd do there's a weeping angel behind you, though, and it wouldn't be very nice.

I tried to make my below comment by looking at your interests and picking something relevant and horrifying - basically I was hoping to find some ridic slash pairings like Dumbledore/giant squid or Jack Harkness/Snape. But instead I just marvelled at your wondrous interests! And had to come up with something generic instead.

I've had an LJ in some form for years but have been away for a few months. This comment RIGHT HERE just reminded me of how much I want to cuddle with the entire LJ community. I love you.

Oh good! Haha. I love LJ comments, to an outsider they probably sound totally bat-shit crazy, but we all totally get it. That's the best part.

Yeah... I have noticed a definite smugness with some people. Also a genuine love of DW, but... yeah.

Ugh, I'm with you on the douchery of far too many DW users I've encountered. Seriously, DW trolls, coming onto LJ just to leave negative comments about how you think DW is superior to LJ--the site DW takes its source code from--is NOT making me want to join Dreamwidth.

I feel bad for the perfectly normal, friendly DW users who are getting a bad rep because of their rude co-users.
