Sweet baby Jesus, that was a terrible movie.

We went to see it because my mother loves natural-disaster-type effects. Like, 2012 was basically her catnip. So she sees commercials with all this water and fire flying around and she is like, YES. THIS IS THE MOVIE FOR ME.

I wish Rathbone didn't do that weird thing of talking through his teeth all throughout Twilight, because he's got about the best character in the thing by this point.

I really was not looking forward to Eclipse due to how he was in Twilight..but I was so happy and pleasantly surprised when I saw Eclipse...it's like he completely loosened up and looked badass doing it.

His acting itself was fine, but the talking through his teeth was distracting. I'm not sure whether he thought that that was Southern or what.

The thing with Jasper is, I've seen interviews where Jackson has said his family is from Texas, and he kind of already has that accent. So if Jasper is also from Texas (something else I got from a Rathbone interview. I don't know anything about Twilight that people haven't just told me) then why is trying to put on accent? Why not just use his own?

Because Texas!Southern is WAY DIFFERENT from say, Georgia!Southern, or Alabama!Southern, or Virginia!Southern.

Pretty much every state has it's own unique variety of twang. :P (I live in VA and was born in NC, tho I grew up in PA so I have no accent myself, tho I am fluent in Southern of all kinds.)
