DON'T GO SEE IT IN 3D. Apparently they did the cheapest transfer possible and it looks like ass. It looks perfectly fine in 2D--probably better, even.

I heard the same thing and we went in 2D. It was hard enough to keep my eyeballs on straight even then.

Alas, my friend and I are planning to see it at the Ziegfeld, one of the few (only?) single-screen movie palace-style theaters in NYC, which is running the 3-D version. Hopefully the sheer size of the screen will make up for any shortcomings.

It was crap 3D which made me sad :( You couldn't even tell we spend four extra dollars. The stupid previews looked better!

I kinda wanted Harryhausen back at the Medusa fighting. God of War on the PS2 looked better. *tear*
