Oscar nominations coming up in about twenty minutes. Then I'll be working on (another) catchup linkspam and a Secret Life update, plus trying to get some more actual work done today. And yes, I did hear about the Dakota Fanning/New Moon thing. There'll be ETA(s) in a bit after the nominations are up

I moved from Montgomery last year. Honestly, there's not that much to do around there, but there are a few good places to eat.

In the Cloverdale area near Huntington College, there are a few good resturants. Sinclairs (http://www.sinclairsrestaurants.com/), which has some great she-crab soup and cheese bread, is great for lunch. There's Tomatino's Pizza (http://www.tomatinos.com/) which is really tasty too. El Rey's is a pretty good Mexican place that's across the street from Tomatinos. There's also an independent movie theatre right down the street from these places that ocasionally will have some pretty interesting stuff.

Outside of that area, there's Somer's place (http://www.sommersplace.com/)which is just like a home cooking type place and Miyako's Japanese Resturant which has really good sushi. In east Montgomery, there's the Shoppes at EastChase, an outdoor type shopping place with lots of shops and places to eat.
