Did I mention that I just realized yesterday that the Golden Globes are this weekend? I mean, not that that's a huge problem, but I hadn't started strength-training mentally preparing myself for the liveblogging. Strange Days: Love that movie. The NYE scene with Mace and the cops and the confetti is just breathtaking.

You're definitely not alone with the love for Strange Days. One of my favorite bits is when he's in the apartment trying to be all menacing with the gun, and he fumbles it. Also, I *loved* his wardrobe in that movie. Also also? He and Angela Bassett had scorching chemistry.

Damn straight. By the end I'm just yelling "OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KISS HER BEFORE YOU PASS OUT FROM BLOOD LOSS!", usually followed by a mighty "WOOOO!" when they do.

Needless to say, you're not the only fan of it, Cleo.

Waaay late here, but I just wanted to add to the love for Strange Days. This movie may be responsible for my dislike of Juliette Lewis. I kept thinking that she was a stupid druggie who was not deserving of Ralph Fiennes and if he would just get over her, he could see that he belongs with Angela Bassett.

Once, back in college, I watched a tape of that movie that someone had dubbed from a TV broadcast. Unfortunately, the tape ran out during the big showdown, leading one of the more impressive collective "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"s in my lifetime.

Fortunately I'd seen it before and retold the ending as best I could.

This thread warms my heart. I have always loved that movie, and I feel like no one else I know has even *seen* it. Now I don't feel so alone. (*sniff*)
