Friday night, feeling fine

Oct 24, 2008 20:02

A surprisingly good day. I think I definitely need to invest in a full bottle of BPAL's Siren for my oil diffuser when I have some moneys, because I felt very workative despite the joyless rainy gloom outside. Maybe it's the ginger? I have no idea ( Read more... )

Sadly, that first link is the New York Times. The story's been developing all evening.

I'm speechless... I'm not a Jennifer fan, but wow... I really hope they get the person that did it.

I hope they do, too. It's just... it's not right. It's really sick, actually.

So, everyone, stop adopting everything you see engaged in biologically impossible speech just because it's in a movie. Thanks.

*snort* When I was eight, I wanted a Jack Russell terrier because I thought it would talk. I was disappointed when the only one they had at the shelter tried to bite my fingers off.

I love how the Jensen Ackles video is underscored with muffled laughing by the person holding the camera.

@ the Jennifer Hudson news- Christ, that's awful. When it popped up on Yahoo, I thought it must have been a car crash or something, but no, it's a random act of violence. And then I scrolled down to the comments, and now I want to punch someone.

Just when I take Jensen Ackles for granted, he goes and owns my soul again. Also, his acting in the actual episode was hilarious as well. My night was made by him shrieking like a girl when the cat jumped at him.

And my dog gets dressed up as Godzilla every Halloween. He's a hit with the kids at the Harvets Festival, so I'd say it's not that creepy. He's also a Min Pin, which might make him a bit more on the cute side by default.

The Jennifer Hudson thing is horrible. I can't imagine.

That's awful about Jennifer Hudson's family. Poor girl.

Reading about the SLC shenanigans reminds me of my friend's mom. She went to a conference in SLC for no other reason than that she wanted to party. I hope I'm not the only one who finds it delightfully ironic that SLC seems to be quite the party town.

And I kinda sorta really want to see Soderbergh's 3-D rock and roll Cleopatra movie.

I know your recap quota is full but if you managed to do one recap post on Thursday night's Supernatural episode I would love you FOREVA!!!

Jensen Ackles is officially the greatest Eye of the Tiger renditionist of all time.

I cannot stop giggling at this clip.

That might be a little hard, seeing as how I've never seen Supernatural before. I'm just passing on something that was funny even out of context.
