I loved this episode so so so much. I've rewatched it numerous times this week, and it just gets better and better.

How could you not mention Sam's growl of disapproval when Sookie asked for Bill on the porch? If anything says werecollie, it's growling when your object of desire wants someone else.

And the pie scene made me cry. It was just so well done.

Observation: When the werecollie comes to sit next to Bill as he's drinking a bottle of Tru Blood out on the lawn, it huffs at him the same way Sam did earlier.

Well it seems to be the regional term for a whole family of cream pies. If you image google chess pie you see all the flavour variations.
