Don't be ashamed to flip out at the return of Pushing Daisies. I am right there with you. We've had to wait so long.

Allow me to flip out for a different reason:
OMG PUSHING DAISIES STARTS TONIGHT AND I WON'T GET TO SEE IT CAUSE I HAVE ORCHESTRA REHEARSAL. *cry*

Season 1 prompted me to start baking a whole slew of pies. Season 2 better stop with that shit, because I have put on like 15 pounds, I am not kidding.

I started with the pie-making thanks to this show, too. I even put little daisies on the crust when I had leftover dough because I am deranged.

Okay, not that bad. Not yet. I tell you, though, I am most definitely a cake person, I don't even like pie, but I will whip out a crust in five minutes flat if it means I can make a four-berry filling for it.

One of my friends went on a pie-baking spree after we saw Waitress. I tried to get her hooked on Pushing Daisies in the hopes that this would recur, but it didn't take.

there are SO many reasons to love pie, but (forgive me) pushing daises is just the cherry on top.

I still haven't seen Waitress, and I wanted to. They're showing it at my college this month, so maybe I'll try to see it then. Or I could always, you know, just rent the damn DVD.

I had no idea it was even renewed! I felt sure that that awesomely crazy a series, let alone by the Wonderfalls guys who are normally utterly unlucky about that sort of thing, would not last.

I did see one episode, though (the one with the jerkass kid who literally needs a new heart?), and it was pretty fun. My bf I think fell instantly in love with it, but I think that's all either of us has seen of it... no, wait, I'm wrong, I saw the one they showed around Halloween, too, but he hasn't seen that one since it was on my DVR and I had to clear it to make room for stuff. Damn, I really need to get the first season on DVD. If nothing else, it'd be the perfect Christmas gift for him.
