Garbage is <3. I'm surprised "Shut Your Mouth" isn't on there--excellent song. :D

I cannot be the only person who thought of Kiss - "Rock and Roll All Night" when I read your cut tag. I simply cannot.

Chocolate is brainwave-inducing in any form. It is like a drug that can be baked into brownies as well as smoked!

*sends Belgian waffles and deep breath*

It might be better than you think- it's really impossible to judge a piece of writing immediately after you've written it. The perspective just isn't there yet. My understanding is that this is not a one draft project, so revision may fix whatever's broken now.

Also, if you can get into that giggly-snarky-having-fun-with-it kinda mind-frame you'll like the results more, no matter what other people end up thinking of it.

Don't know if that's helpful. (If not, apologies in advance.)

Your Garbage fanness rocks. You're missing "Not My Idea." That may be my favorite track off the first album. Well, that's a hard track to pick, since there are a lot of greats. And dude, you have "Girl Don't Come" without "Lick the Pavement." I usually listen to those two together because they rock so hard in a similar way. Oh, and "Enough Is Never Enough" seems like a good pumping-up song. "Trip My Wire"! I love "Metal Heart."

I await the story of How Cleo Got Her Groove Back.

I don't know that I have "Lick the Pavement." I don't have any of the non-album songs on CD, I know that for sure, and I didn't really burn all three to my hard drive--I just picked the songs I liked best. For some reason, I think I like the first CD the least (which is still a lot). I love "Special," but for some reason didn't put it on my computer until last night.

YOU MUST HAVE "LICK THE PAVEMENT." Download and enjoy now.

I'm not sure I could pick an album I like the least, especially because I don't have the beautifulgarbage hate that most Garbage fans seem to. I can't hate an album that gave me "So Like a Rose."

And heh. I kind of hate "Special." It is way, way, way down at the bottom of my list of Garbage songs. I hate it more for being a single when there were much better songs off that album. I mean, the "Aaaah aah aaah aaah" business bugged me to begin with, and I didn't like it a whole lot, but it really annoyed me when they could have used "Hammering in My Head" or "Temptation Waits" or "The Trick Is to Keep Breathing" or, I don't know, anything else. Even "Wicked Ways," which I also don't think is superhot.

I don't get what's up with the beautifulgarbage hate--I think that's my second favorite, with Garbage 2.0 being my favorite; I'm not factoring Bleed Like Me in until I've listened to it more. There are other BG songs I like; I just don't have them in my mix (or, indeed, on my computer).

I really like "Special," though--she gets this strange Chrissie Hynde kind of sound, particularly towards the end, that I like. I do think "Temptation Waits" should have been a single, though, as it's one of the best songs on there.

I'm downloading it, but I haven't been able to listen to it with a straight face since Passions used it for a dirty dance competition storyline. The "dirty dancing" actually involved ballet-style lifting and pirouettes, and due to the nature of soap operas, was shown every day for at least a week. It was seriously one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and probably the worst song choice possible.
