Also, regarding Hannibal's agitation, I wondered why he was fiddling with his pen during his first scene with Jack. Initially I thought it was the Scalpel of Doom, but no.

And on a possibly entirely insane note, where have I seen Bedelia's door before? This has now been bugging me for days. I mean, maybe it's just something I've seen in real life, but with Fuller's endless references to other things, perhaps not. Anyone?

noooo I don't look at the pictures or the spoilers or anything if possible! Either I miss being surprised or I see just enough to get anxious waiting for the show. I know so much about the original material that basically I guard my show innocence with great effort.

Heh, it's okay. I try to avoid them pretty strenuously for anything I actually care about (I'll read full spoilers for other things, though), but I'm not going to throw a tantrum if it happens.
