Bryan Fuller, you slick bastard, you made me feel bad for FRANKLYN. And to think, just last week, I was openly calling for his death.

Poor guy. Never realized the room was completely full of lions.

I am so, so glad I'm not the only person who thought of Phantom at that moment in the basement.

Heh, the POTO thing clicked when I went, "Well, it's a good thing Tobias couldn't manage to strangle Will because his hands were OHHHHHHH."

Two lions or... a lion and...? AARRGH can't think of appropriate predatory animal analogies... (Cue David Attenborough narration: "Heah, on this lonely stretch of road outside the American city of Baltimore...")

A lion and a hyena?

The analogy probably falls apart before I can even begin, but... serizawa3000 May 20 2013, 03:25:06 UTC
I'm remembering a program about the Serengeti (I think) they showed on Nat. Geo. a while back, where they were likening the competition between the lions, hyenas and wild dogs as all-out war (the people behind the programming sensationalized it all to hell). Right now I'm thinking of how Desmond Morris decided to look at humans through a zoologist's eyes... Lecter seems to be a "sneak and ambush" predator (though apparently he will run someone down like he did with the "rabbit"), but then, when he finishes off Budge, he aims for the head, like a jaguar...
