@cleolinda: These gifs express my feelings on the bittersweet ending of the Twilight movies.

@cleolinda: An hour early was not early enough. Line all the way through the building to the back door. Forgot one does not simply walk into Twilight.

@cleolinda: The line has now doubled all the way ( Read more... )

I think it's when he sees Reneesme? He does this strange noise, like a mix of a squeak and a laugh.

Still, we'll see clips of it on tumblr eventually. I HAVE FOUND THE TUMBLR POST:

AHAHAHAHA

Okay, I gotta ask: am I the only person who thought he had a distinct resemblance to Mickey Mouse in this whole sequence?

I haven't seen any of these movies, not even for the lulz. But seeing that gif, um... did someone take the part of "Interview with the Vampire" that everyone laughed at back then, and redo it? AKA Teatre des Vampires?

Oh, awesome, there it is!

And HOLY CRAP IT'S EVEN CREEPIER THAN I REMEMBERED.

The best thing about this whole sorry franchise is Michael Sheen having an absolute blast.

This needs to be remixed with Voldemort's laugh and Loki's "ehehehe". TUMBLR, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

He was good in the other two movies, but he was just OUT OF CONTROL in this one, my God. I mean that as a compliment. I will say, judging from an interview of his I saw the other day, he has an extremely good grasp of the character as actually written, because most of this is in the book, just amplified. In fact, it's like this is the movie that is closest to the way the corresponding book played out in my head--since I HIGHLY doubt anyone was consulting my recaps between takes, Bill Condon must just really see things in a similar way or something. In fact, you know what I bet it is? All his interviews for the first movie indicated that he has a sincere affection for the series, and yet this is one of the funniest movies. Maybe it's a combination of affection and humor that people are picking up on.

SO TRUE. A healthy mix of affection and humor is definitely the best mindset to do the movie in.

Also, even though his character is not as theatrical as Aro, I really think Lee Pace classed up the joint quite a bit. Possibly because his character was so awesome? It could have also been the outfit and hair.

...That sounds like Rumpelstiltskin's laugh in Once Upon A Time. Wow, impressive.

Exactly what I was thinking. Only more unhinged and less "You have no idea who you're messing with, do you, dearie?"

Yeah, Rumple's laugh has more menace and less crazy behind it.

I almost want an AU with Rumples and Aro meeting now. It would be hilarious and terrifying.
