lookin' at majoring in japanese studies and english/american lit. maybe a minor in art. what do you think?
i might wait to declare so that i have more time to decide on my advisors: the english advisor i wanted will be abroad next year and i the year following . . . so that would be kind of silly. and as for japanese, i can't decide whether i want my favorite japanese teacher (who wouldn't be too useful for english recommendation letters), the well-known department head (whom i hardly know), or just my current advisor (who coincidentally is a prof in the right discipline but is mega flaky).
anyways, as open to suggestion as ever
