Inescapable Face Palmings And Musings
Okay, so a few days ago, I randomly but pleasantly got a review alert over on Archive for a Valkyrie Profile fic of mine. Inescapable, and it was such amazing comments it has had me over the moon. Now here is where i face palm. Okay, I mentioned in my review reply, that I had been a bit...disatisfied with some of it, and had been trying to rewrite it...
Cue to me reading the first two chapters while at a doctors appt, on my kindle...I was like this isn't screaming as bad as I had thought....but one thing that had me itching to correct, was mostly some words and typos, mostly the habit I had (and still kinda struggle with) of It's, versus its.
WELL! Now here comes the face palm. I start to go over chapter one on my laptop....and its noticeably different from the version I had placed on my kindle. Apparently I had already fixed it up a while back, a long while, and just forgot I had fixed it to hopefully be a smoother read! *face palms* But at least that probably has saved me from doing a complete overhaul. Still going over it though, to enjoy the story, but also to fix some miniscule imperfections and typos...I may be face palming, but this is actually proving a very pleasant surprise to have discovered!
I am also trying to get back into the vibe of being creative. Not just with writing, though I dearly hope to! But also with art. Last night I finally set about to doing some serious coloring on a Lezard Lenneth artwork I started like six months (If not more!) ago! I am pleased with the amount of progress I have made on it! I also started listening to a lets play of the original VP, since I do want a refresher course on the games many scenes!
On a side note, didn't do as much translating as I would have liked since like March? Maybe end of February. I had to have a test done, and was so nerovus about this medical process, I was coping with a video game Huntress helped me get. Dreamlight Valley! But it not only helped me cope with all that and the anxieties, it kinda derailed me from translating for the most part. I've over 325 hours in it at this point. ^^''
