mental health Depression and anxiety - there are times when they affect me a lot, and times when they hardly affect me at all, but they're always lurking in the background. I also have fibromyalgia and associated physical health issues, including a sleep disorder, although those are pretty well controlled by medication at present.

hobbies & interests Reading, blogging, penpalling, walking, running my Meetup group, seeing my friends, cinema, theatre, photography, history, nature, the paranormal, cryptozoology, mythology, spirituality (I'm pagan-leaning), sociology, the human brain, goth fashion and art, museums and galleries.

favourite games I don't play any video games - I like board games though :)

about your journal I usually post every day, about my everyday life, thoughts and feelings. I talk about everything, really - work, friends, hobbies, dating... I spent much of this year on the rollercoaster of a very difficult and ultimately doomed relationship and am now dipping a cautious toe into the dating pool again. I try to make my posts funny, thoughtful or at least interesting enough to read all the way through and I do quite a lot of interactive stuff like polls, questions to my Flist, etc. I also post photos of the pretty bits of Scotland :)
friending policy I like to have people on my Flist who (a) post regularly (more than once a week), (b) post mainly about their lives (rather than a lot of fandom or political stuff) and (c) comment at least once in a while. I don't manage to comment on every entry myself and I don't expect you to either, but I like to get the occasional bit of feedback :) I am open to people of all lifestyles, backgrounds, nationalities, religions, health issues, sexualities, etc, etc - just be open-minded, friendly and ready to accept me as I am, and I'll do the same for you :)
