"bagyong" milenyo!
strongest in the last 20 years...typhoon milenyo! with winds up to 260 kph wow! its faster than my freakin' car!
things i saw after the destructive force of nature
1. trees no longer existed in the front entrance of UA&P
2. starbucks closed at 3PM
3. the whole gold loop was virtually destroyed by the trees..no use going aorund the loop
4. Megamall, Shangri-la, Galleria were closed..except Podium good thing a lot of the establishments were open, grabbed a pizza to eat
5. trees are all over ortigas center, uprooted and left in the middle of the road
6. probably hundreds of people stranded trying to commute
7. and for the first time in my life in the city...walang bus! hope the roads remain bus-less forever (*wishful thinking*)
8. 10 % of metro manila are the only ones with power
9. the parking lot of UA&P looked like it was hit by an earthquake...remember the kiosk...sira na ang sidewalk!
10. nabasag ang entrance ng residencia, astoria plaza and santis...shattered glass!
well i could still hear the winds from up here...goodluck sleeping tonight...
apparently hotels are the only one with electricity....naki hitch na ako dito sa ate ko...hehe
