(no subject)
so i was conned into becoming a member of this network direct inc, which boasts cheap condos all over the world and access to cheap everything, and though i know they are suckering me into something not half as good as it sounds i am too curious to back out of it. besides, 38 bucks a month isn't much, and it's not forever, and being a member is cool. yea. anyways, if i did want to get out of it i'd have to mail them back this big folder, and i don't like going to the post office so i'm going to stick with it.
i couldn't tell you how many sirens went through the light last night, but joe and i both suffered quite a bit. and then it sounded like some sort of air raid, probably about eight copters flying directly overhead, and that was loud and uncomfortable too. damn all the night noise.
off to babysit nora in a bit.. hope she still likes me today.
ah and i bought a stove!! well, i already had a very beautiful new stove/oven that came with apartment but it's gas and the gas company was totally trying to rip me off ten bucks a month just for the right to have the gas, and so there's no way i can allow that to happen so i bought a fancy little electric stove which is now on top of the gas stove, and it's fabulous. haven't used it yet, but that's the first thing to do once i get back from nora.
