Srownderful

I just got toothpaste on my shirt, but back to the journal. I'm sure many of my avid journal readers are wondering why this hasn't been updated for the past couple of days. Well to tell it to you true, I've been away at a conference at the University of Tennessee called SROW, southern regional orientation workshop. It was srownderful. A thing about this workshop is that you replace many words with srow, so instead of lets rock and roll you'd say lets rock and srow! Cheesy huh? But bouqoos of fun. It started with an early trip up to Knoxville on Friday morning where we checked into the Marriott. Great place with feather blankets and feather pillows! Loved it there. Then on to roll call where we were bombarded with stickers of all the other schools attending, yea that was crazy cuz it was stickers and dancing all over the place. After dinner we went to observe the song and skit competition which was very very very long and entertaining, well some of it was questionable, but I give props to Alabama State because they were awesome with their Matrix skit. Plus they won! The next day I had to wake up at 5:30 in the am, not to mention not getting to bed til 1:30 and not getting sufficient sleep at that. I was dying all day long, there were no breaks whatsoever, just constant workshops and meetings and etc. The fun thing was we got a chance to trade our t-shirts with other schools, so I have acquired a UNC Chapel Hill shirt and a LSU Lafayette "Ragin Cajun" shirt. Very fun! Saturday night was the social where there were dancing and games. The inflatable toys are fun, but dangerous, just ask Eric about his experience of being whaled on in the jousting match, but he still won! Half our group checked out of that one early because we were delirious and needed sleep. So back at the hotel my roommates and I ordered a pizza and chilled out with our down time, but as soon as my head hit that pillow I was out. So comes today, Sunday, with a skit that us Clemson Ambs put on to promote SROW next year here at Clemson! Some awards were given out too, but I was glad to be back at Clemson because Tennessee is not my favorite and being away from Clemson and seeing other places not as srownderful makes me love it here even more! Oh and Eric had the most hilarious laugh attack in the van, I thought he was going to die, and no one knew what he was laughing about is the first thing. That kid is crazy I tell ya, but cool as a popsicle. Anyway, we got back to Clemson and I unpacked, showered and Will came by because he missed me oh so much as I of him. Then I passed out for about 4 hours woke up watched some Chapelle, went over to Will's to play and eat and now its time to get in bed and sleep forever again! So night y'all!
You know when you get delirious it is quite a scary thing. I'm going to recall incident number one when we were driving back from the Clemson-Carolina game, I had minimum sleep the night before and had been out tailgating in the sun all day and then in the game all night and then had to drive back that night. Not smart on my behalf because I was crazy. Oh and random input here, why has everyone been asking me if I'm high or on drugs or smoking crack lately? Maybe this is why because I'm so random. So back to my point. I was driving back from Columbia late at night with Dan passed out in the passenger seat and I swear I saw a million things that you would never see in the road. Well you might and prolly have but not a million. There were the occasional white rabbits and deer that weren't really there, but it got bad when I started seeing people. It wasn't like actual looking people either, more like ghosts because they were dressed in all white and glowed and were white and just freaky, very freaky, I shouldn't have been driving because I think if I kept seeing them I'd start swerving and stuff like that that isn't very cool. Anyway, the only reason I thought of this topic is because last night I was seeing spiders crawl across the hallway of the hotel and there was nothing there because I was delirious. So the moral of my story is don't do anything that takes a lot of efforst when you have lack of sleep or just sleep more or whatever you learned from this story is good too. And no I do not do drugs anyone, I'm just like that normally!

Love U Will, a&f
