Snoe Day
SNOW DAY! So amazingly, Clemson did receive some snow today and classes were canceled. I called my dad around 12 to tell him that school was closed so he teased me about just getting out of bed, but I kindly reminded him that I don't wake up til 12 anyway because I normally have class at 2. So I woke Will's butt up and we took a lunch trip to Huddle House. Afterward we came back to his room and watched tv and stayed in bed for the rest of the day. I'm talking the whole day. We finally got out at about 10 to get some food at Peppinos only, and I mean only because they wouldn't deliver. So proceeding our dinner break, we are back in the bed, we need to go to bed early just in-case classes are on again! Well you know... Oh, today, I got out 800 dollars from my bank all in hundred dollar bills and gave it to Will which he put in his money clip, gave him a little taste of having that much cold, hard cash in that sparkling clip. I told him thats what he can do when we're older and can actually have the money to walk around with the Benjamins.
So lets get back to this snow deal. How does it go from 60 degree weather, to winter storms and back to supposedly the 60's? I don't get it, and I thought Washington had crazy weather. At least up there it rains and stays raining for 9 months straight. Also, I mean, come on, its just a couple inches of snow and not even sticking to the roads. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that Clemson was closed, but its ridiculous. I understand that they are not use to handling it down here, but it wasn't even on the roads! It makes me laugh when everyone gets excited about the snow. I get excited when the whole place is just white with no other color coming through, because that is truly a winter wonderland. So happy snow day for all you southern boys and girls, I'm happy for you that you got to get a little taste of frozeness and snow cream.
