IT'S SNOWING!
I hope it lasts long enough for us to not have school tomorrow...cuz that would be awesome, although Dee might have an aneurysm. First Shakespeare party of the year last night = tons of fun. Being the only sober person there was amusing, as usual. My sister drank for the first time, which was interesting, but she was pretty controlled about it. It was nuts - 150 beers gone in two hours. And there was also an assload of pot - the whole house smelled! It was a lot of fun, though, despite my coldiness. I actually started to act kind of loopy too - maybe the intoxication was just...intoxicating. Dunno. Now my sis has a hangover and is really upset that she can't throw up with my mom around.
I've been reading Mortal Lessons since I woke up - it's good, but in theses chapters there's just no driving force or conflict, so it's hard to just keep reading, despite Selzer's cool writing. I've just gotten a little tired of it, and I have to come up with a way to write a good-length personal essay connected to it. Fuck. Really don't want to do that. I just want to hang out and watch movies all day. Not gonna happen. Oh well...should probably stop procrastinating and go back to reading "The Belly."
Oh - Alexander got into Middlebury EDII!!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Now someone explain the logic of him getting deferred at Cornell and getting into Middlebury. Whatever. Middlebury is a better school for him and I'm so happy for him.
