IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Yes! I am finally 17 - so old! - which means I can see rated R movies without a parent and I don't have to say, "Mom, can I see such-and-such?" In celebration of this, I went out and rented two movies the other day that my mom had been refusing to let me see - Closer and A Walk on the Moon. Closer was fantastic, with incredible performances and a great script. A Walk on the Moon was not that explicit, but it was amazing - Liev Schreiber and Diane Lane were wonderful, and Viggo Mortensen was simply GORGEOUS. The script was also great, very believable. At fh today, everyone was really sweet. Midori, Marissa and I are all 17 today, so as I rolled into the parking lot the team cheered, and Chapin and KJ made us a cake. I'm seeing Spamalot tonight w/ the fam, and I'm so excited. YES! I'm 17!
