Finally! time to Update this thing from Hong Kong! lol. I arrived here on the 20th at 10pm and went to my Uncles apartment where I now live for the time being. It's a great place on the 19th floor of a newly built apartment complex overlooking a horse Race course. Oh yeah, the flight took 14 hours. lol. sux. I spent the time talking to a korean girl (Her name was Jennifer. lol) and japanese girl about Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. xD They were both big fans. Though it ws harder talking to the japanese girl, her English wasn't that good. lol.
On the 21'st, my uncle edmond had to go to work for his last day before is 3 week vacation, so my Aunt May took me to see what I needed for a vista into China and to look at Travel groups there. Afterwards, I went to the little shop by my grandparents apartment and had some Ramen and Ice Lemon Tea. I've been there before with Lai when I was 7 and 10. My family here are regular patrons of his, so my aunt brought up to him if he remembered a little kid that she used to bring here, he said yes and was surprised how much I've grown. Oh, Lai if your reading this, he say Hi. lol. Afterward, I went to visit my Grandparent and my randpa spent and hour telling me how he used to travel and about my family's heritage. Then we all left for lunch. Took a Taxi to get there. There are a LOT of Taxi's in Hong Kong. lol. My Aunt Anita met us at the resturaunt and brought along her grandaughter who'd now calling me her Uncle. >< lol. She's like 7 and really outgoing. Her names Jamie. After Lunch, Aunt May and I took Jamie to go play at the arcade thingy game place... lol. Afterwards, we wentback to my grandparents and played Uno there until my Uncle Edmond came from work, and I went with him to the resturaunt where Aunt Anita had Planned for Dinner. We took thje Bus there and got caught up in the night life with all the people walking in the the streets, with all the billboards and Neon signs ect. So by the time we got there, my grandparents were already there. xD.
At dinner I saw my Uncle Alan and Aunt Sou and was joined by Aunt Anita and Jaime again who I heard kept bugging her grandma when she'd get to see me again. xD Little Children Love me. I think I'm her fav. Uncle. lol. Well, they a;; gave me red envelopes with money inside so I have some to spend here in Hong Kong and I have enough for a 30 Gig IPOD now. SO guess what I'm getting when I come home to Detroit! lol. After dinner I walked around the mecca of lighs with Uncle Edmond and Aunt May.
All buses and in some stores, you can pay by scanning a prepaid card that still in your wallet over a scanner. If you run out of money, you can go to a 7 11 and Put more money into the card. This system is sweet. By the ways, There are a LOT of Mcdonalds and Mc Cafe's here (Which we don' have Mc Cafe's in America) though there are even more 7 11's. LOL
Yesterday- lol. I woke up early as usual and ate some leftovers from dinner for breakfast. We had my sister send over scans of documents I needed in order to get a Visa into China. (I'm going to go see Shaolin Monks later this week I think.) So we left and went to Mcdonalds and I got a "Large" Mocha MilkShake (Which is the size of a "small" Milkshake here xD). Then we went and applied for a Visa, I have to go pick it up in 5 days. After the Visa thng, My Cousin Yin (Jamies mom) called and told me she wanted to see me and to meet her for Lunch, so I went to the resturaunt and saw her, along with Jamie and my Aunt Anita. Jamie was happy to see me. lol After lunch, We seperated and Uncle Edmond and Aunt May took my to Mong Kok, which is the electronics District of Hong Kong. I bouth a shirt, Camo jeans, and a Badass messenger Bag for 15 Dollars American!
Yeah... That was FUN!!!!!! They have Cell phones that aren't out in the U.S. Yet, and I mean thousands of them. and I guarantee you they were badass. I also saw white PSP's and Metallic Purple Razr's. lol We went back to Hong Hum district where my grandpa live and had dinner (Yeah, there a lot of eating, but I walk like 5-6 miles a day. ^_~) and tookjj a Taxi home. Oh, and there are Japanese shows on TV!! lol.
3rd day (Today)- I just woke up and updated... lol.
btw. I saw a beautiful... and I mean beautiful guitar. 10,000 Dollars.
