Session 01: Round 08: results
Ta-dah! Here are the results for round 8!
The icons in this were all wonderful, I believe everybody agrees that is was very hard to pick any to eliminate! But unfortunately we have to say good bye to one of the participants.

ELIMINATE:
#001 - the texture use is good, but Clemence looks too dark, the cut sides look strange
#001 - nice icon, but it possibly needs more contrast and a bit sharp
01 - creative icon, but it wasn't worked out good. Her face looks too blurry and textures are excess
#001 - interesting idea, but her face looks too pale
#001 - You can't even see Clémence's properly. It's too hard to identify. There needs more contrast with the gray tones.
#01 - too blurry icon, textures don't fit it.
#001 - the form of the icon is not very good, the person is too dark
02 - icon looks too simple around the others
#002 - сoloring is too green
#02 - can't say that the icon is bad, but in comparison with others it's too simple done
#003 - It's too dull & boring. There needs to be more brightness or something in the icon to catch your eye.
#004 - I think the back ground is a little bit unfitting, and the icon looks rather empty
#004 - I guess composition isn't well thought - too much free space which isn't filled somewhat with relief texture
#04 - too much empty space, a teeny-tiny texture would be great
#05 - colouring is too oversaturated, black stripe on the top of icon looks unnecessary
#005 - clemence is too blurry and the black texture doesn't fit
FAVOURITE:
#002 - great colouring! very lovely result
#003 - very nice crop, it looks so retro
#03 - amazing b&w, good texture use
#003 - good balanced b&w, the form of edges is good
#004 - great coloring and crop
#004 - It's so simple & cute with just tje right amount of color to draw your eye in. I love how Clémence's lips pop too =)
5 - beautiful colors and cropping
#05 - interesting crop, and thanks to the dark texture the icon doesn't look empty
