been working at the local democratic headquarters doing whatever needs to be done.....friday a paid worker there gave us a pep talk. told us not to engage in ANY discussion with people coming in for signs or buttons. be nice, just don't talk down the republicans. they may not be who them seem. may have tape recorders and take our comments out of context. may try to make volunteers "spokesmen" for the democratic party. how sad. we were warned it's going to get even uglier in the next 10 days than it already is. that really made me despondent for the future of our country that people are this divided. then i come home from the movies last night and my kerry/edwards signs are stolen from the front yard....i am MAD and i can't wait til this is OVER (whenever that may be....a long time, i fear!)
