Post Thanksgiving Madness

Yesterday morning, even before the crack of dawn, I was roused from my beautiful, tryptophan-induced slumber, content in the knowledge that my beloved Dallas Cowboys had once again triumphed on Thanksgiving, and stumbled through my morning ablutions. (scratches head) While it makes some sense to me to have a kettle near the Best Buy, having the canteen there too is somewhat puzzling to me.

I would think that the reason those folks are there in line in this big box electronics store (despite the fact they are there early in order to get the bargains) is because they *have* spare cash to spend on such luxury items as games, LCD TVs, MP3 players, etc., and aren't really the ones most in need for (?free) hot coffee and nourishing food.

Mind you, I could be completely wrong in the priorities of some persons who in fact will pay for a DVD-player but not for food for their family.

Most 'big box' stores, like Best Buy, have national non-solicitation policies, so we were not allowed to place the kettle there ( ... )
