I have now officially survived my first (most of a) year as a high school teacher! *applause* The last three weeks have sucked SO hard, oh my god. It's a good thing that I love the teaching, because the marking for high school English courses has nothing whatsoever to recommend it. MARKING IS THE DEVIL. FOR SERIOUS

I've seen the things my teenaged nephews write for their English courses and I do not envy you. At all.

It is a special breed of frustrating, marking high school English assignments. The rest of the job is great, though, aside from the no sleep thing.

Thank you! I am trying to be very good about actually doing something with my time rather than just sitting in front of the computer for the next two months. We'll see how that goes. ^_^;

Thank you! I have decided that I am not even thinking about jobs for at least a month. I have a summer vacation to enjoy before job stress takes over. :)
